Hnnngh I was super unsure about whether or not i wanted to post this to dA but I'm super proud of it and i want to show it off goddammit (Mostly because it's the first time I've drawn Yukimura)
But here's Yukimura and my intepretation of Akihime--I've changed her hairstyle so now it's a cute asymmetrical one.
Before meeting Yukimura, Akihime was quite a sad girl, living under Yoshitsugu's control. It wasn't always that way--but as Yoshitsugu's hatred of people grew and his leprosy worsened, so did his desire to see that his foster daughter wouldn't become like one of them. His biological son Yoshikatsu had cut ties with him when his scheming first began, leaving Akihime with no one to turn to.
Yukimura was the first person in a long time to bring her happiness.
