As you can probably tell, I don't really go on dA anymore. I'm keeping my stuff up because it's nice to see how far I've come, and occasionally I get messages.
Fact is, I work full-time now, and by the time I get home I'm too tired to draw or do anything. The stuff I do draw tends to be related to private RPs so I don't wanna share them with the world because the art needs context.
I still have a tumblr (blue-and-art), and I started an instagram for my photography, itsblueanddog.
Maybe I'll post again eventually. Just don't hold your breath.

Over the last couple months I've been trying to redesign Sailor Gemini.
The zodiac sign's power color is apparently yellow, but Shion was always given blue as it was my favorite color.
But maybe she'd look better with a pale blue and yellow color scheme?
If that happens, future appearances in the comics will retcon her appearance.

This is a "fun facts" page that I compiled sometime last year.

The reason Gemini’s ability is “space” instead of wind is because I absolutely love stars, and really couldn’t come up with impressive wind-based moves.
Aquarius’ personality is based slightly off Miyako Uehara from Pani Poni Dash, an anime I used to watch in high school.
The first kanji in Shion’s last name, “Futa,” is the same kanji used in the word “Futago,” which means “Twin.”
Aquarius dislikes the majority of the other senshi.
Gemini’s default appearance was originally my default internet persona which I started using in high school and ended early in college—when I started drawing myself closer to how I really look I sort of “gave” the look to Shion, with several changes. Retired it, in a way.
Shion had pigtails as a teenager, when she first transformed.
Cancer is a fantastic swimmer but is terrified of the beach. She likes being able to see what’s around her when she swims. However, after her first transformation, she was somehow able to see clearly underwater whenever she wanted.
Scorpio’s favorite types of music to sing are jazz and R&B.
Capricorn/Shiki and Aquarius/Mai are both very stressed out people—Mai just expresses it a lot more.
All the senshi’s guardian creatures are named after their constellation’s brightest or most notable star.
Shion doesn’t have a boyfriend, but she has an online friend who acts as her ally, and is the only other person who knows her gift—-Batsu Higashizawa, a computer technician.
Virgo/Mamimi is bisexual. Mai is a lesbian, and has a girlfriend. Scorpio/Kirie’s sexuality is confusing, as her girlfriend is actually a boy, and neither of them knows exactly how to explain it.
Eternal forms for the senshi will all be inspired by various types of warriors—Gemini is a knight. Aries is planned to be a gladiator, Pisces will be a wizard and Sagittarius will lean toward a samurai-style. I’m still researching other types of warriors.
The reason Shion’s eyes are always drawn closed are to show her default, upbeat personality.
Aries’ basic fuku pattern is inspired by the “jagged shirt” from Animal Crossing.
Libra/Himawari plays games from time to time—she likes Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney) the most.
I decided the girls were empresses in their past lives instead of princesses because the constellations are clusters of stars, not one thing.
Shion has a twin brother, Jin Futaba.
